The aFe POWER Differential Cover or "Diff Cover" in short, seals the differential and helps protect the gears, bearings, and fluid inside. It helps keep the oil inside and contaminants out. While the stock covers are good for normal use, our covers are made from cast aluminum and iron, with cooling fins, reinforced ribs, or drain/fill plugs for better performance and ease of maintenance.
